We're headed to Seattle! We're a bit west-coast biased, so this counts as our controversial 4th pick in the debate of four "major" US cities. The itinerary is extremely tentative because there might be days that are more WFH energy than YOLO energy. We won't be renting a car for the entire trip, but would probably try to reserve a Zip Car (or something similar) for the day trip.

Day 1
Morning: Arrive from an early morning flight and drop off bags at our hotel.
Afternoon: Ballard Locks
Evening:
Day 2
Morning: Pike Place Market & an underground tour.
Afternoon: Seattle Aquarium
Evening:
Day 3
Plan a day trip to Vancouver, Snoqualmie Falls, or Mt. Rainier. We're pretty hardy travelers and don't mind a long commute.
Day 4
Morning:
Afternoon: Grab late lunch somewhere & head to airport
Evening: Flight home

Food recommendations. On a previous visit almost 10 years ago, there was a breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe that left quite an impression. Other than that, we welcome any guidance.
Advice on what to do for our day trip.
